New Armenian Passports Design
The overall purpose for the renewal of the passports was that the passport should have a powerful connection with the Armenian people․ The design has to create a sense of belonging and connection with the people of Armenia regardless of their age, gender, and region of residence. Therefore, it was important to look at our historical foundation and people in Armenian culture that create a sense of belonging.
I have created a comprehensive visual story where every page represents a unique story of Armenia through distinguished people of the nation. Every visa page has been thoroughly illustrated to create a unique yet closely connected style.
13 famous and talented Armenian people who stood out for their scientific, cultural, political, and social achievements in different periods were selected for the design of the passport pages. Although these people represent different fields, they all have several important traits in common: all of them contributed to the formation of the Armenian identity and contributed to the development of their fields at the world level. In addition, it is thanks to these people that the Armenian cultural, sociopolitical, and scientific heritage is recognizable in all over the world today.
Thus, the new version of the passport aims to unite the Armenian people and create a universal field of unity through its outstanding people.
